Less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping, sometimes called shared-truck freight, is for shipments that don't fill an entire trailer, so you only pay for the space you use.

National LTL networks move freight through terminal-to-terminal transfers, which adds handling at every stop. Bambara moves LTL-size shipments regionally on one 26-foot box truck, direct from pickup to delivery. Fewer touches, less risk of damage.

Pickups originate in Salt Lake City and northern Utah: Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Weber, and Summit counties. We deliver throughout Utah: Salt Lake City, the Wasatch Front from Provo to Ogden, Park City, Logan, St. George, and points in between.

Regional interstate lanes run to Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming, with typical transit of one to two days. Longer-distance runs are available on a negotiated basis. Ask, and we'll give you a straight answer on the lane.

A 26-foot Freightliner box truck with a hydraulic liftgate and a pallet jack, with a payload capacity of about 10,000 pounds. If your freight can be palletized, strapped, or secured inside 26 feet and lands under 10,000 pounds, it fits.

A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of the truck that lowers freight safely from truck height to the ground. Think of it as an elevator for pallets. It means we can deliver anywhere a truck can physically reach, even with no dock and no forklift on site.

Once the freight is on the ground, the pallet jack moves it to the dock, curb, or threshold. No special equipment needed on your end.

We deliver commercial freight to residential addresses, such as a furniture retailer's customer or a home job site, with liftgate service to the curb, driveway, or threshold.

We are not a moving company and don't offer white-glove service: no household moves, and no unpacking, assembly, or in-home setup. If you need those services, we're glad to point you in the right direction.

No. We run dry freight only: no refrigerated (temperature-controlled) loads and no hazardous materials that require placards. We also don't handle small-parcel shipping; for single boxes, a parcel carrier like UPS or FedEx Ground is the right tool.

Yes.
